Glenn O’Kearney

Glenn established GT Advisory & Consulting in 2016 and brings more than 20 years’ experience to the areas of insolvency and restructuring. This includes expertise in receiverships, voluntary administrations (deed of company arrangements),  liquidations, personal insolvency agreements and bankruptcies.

During his time in the corporate finance and restructuring industry, he has also gained extensive experience in preparing expert reports on insolvency and advisory engagements, including preparing strategic reviews and recommendations to Boards, and presenting expert evidence to Court. He has also led engagements for financiers providing operational and transactional support, asset management services, and preparing investigative accountant reports.

This varied range of experience and engagements has enabled Glenn to acquire the specialist expertise that is required when dealing with a diverse array of distressed assets, clients and businesses.

Glenn’s vast professional and personal insight informs his leadership at GT Advisory & Consulting, and his dealings with with clients who are facing complex and challenging financial circumstances. This is exemplified by his ‘No One Size Fits All’ approach he brings to each engagement, and his firm commitment to achieving commercial outcomes.

When Glenn isn’t working, he is spending his time with his family around the pool and at the beach, and watching his kids participate in a wide range of community sport. He also enjoys a hit of tennis and golf, cooking, and sharing his passion for music with his children.
